To all military personnel, especially those deployed away from home (Afghanistan, Haiti or where ever), our thoughts and prayers are with you. Thanks for all you do for those in need. Having served in the military, having family and friends in the military and still working with DND, I witness first hand everyday your dedication, professionalism, the hard work you do and the sacrifices you make for us. Just like our Firefighters and Police Officers, you always have our Canadian backs and we thank you. We are so proud of you. Stay Safe!

Just want to thank Kevin, for his hard work and devotion for this work. His hours as a firefighter are busy enough, but his heart is bigger than that. I appreciate the shirts he gave to send to Iraq. We share a huge border with the Americans, and many like myself married across that border, and so there are many Canadians fighting with the American services as well. My son was born here in Sarnia, and is presently in Iraq serving with the American services, and has three or four other Canadians in his Unit. I so appreciated being able to get some Canadian shirts to send for him, and he was very excited to receive them, and could hardly wait to wear one. His wife and four young children are stationed in Germany away from family and friends, and that makes it hard too. I asked him what was the hardest, and he said, seeing other children his kids age, and their circumstances. He said sometimes they do something that is common of that age that may be one of his own kids age. He said he actually hurts to think of his kids at that time. But for the most part he is optomistic and loves both countries, as he is a citizen of both Canada and United States. He knows he is there to do a job, and wants to do it and get home to his family. Thank you for your support Kevin and team. The Spencer's of Sarnia
